Were you thinking of Eddie Bello wolf? I'm not sure if he's on pelican or not but I remember seeing a few videos of his car on youtube.

Awesome - I read about this 700+ HP car in Excellence or some other similar magazine. Thanks for the video. I wish my car pulled like that up the back straight at Mosport! Then again I'd probably kill myself when it launched off the hump

Hey Tony, nice work. And the car looks a lot different from when I bought your bumpers. When will we see it out for a Chicago Cars and Coffee?

That was Alexander. He's somewhat of an Internet legend with previous monster Porsches.
The Beast looks great boys! |

Alex also owned/ran the "Wooly Mammoth" on the show Pinks.
I didn't believe it was the same guy but a search on the web confirmed it. Why can't I get the video to play here?

Awesome Frank. You guys really do top notch and incredible work. Congrats on another great and successful project. Please say "hi" to Ivo J. for me and hope his Datsun 2J project is coming along well.
My best - Yasin

I'm pretty sure the show down he's refering to is the one done on Super Cars Exposed, in which Alexander beat Claus Ettensberger driving a TechArt GT Street. Claus had Alexander beat after the last turn, but Alexander's car rocketed pass Claus like he was standing still. Even Claus couldn't belive it was possible.
http://www.cecwheels.com/news1-1045/TECHARTGTSTREETONSUPERCARSEXPOSED The Youtube video doesn't show the final race between Claus and Alexander, and I can't find it on Google yet. Claus beat out a lot of high HP cars to get to the final race. I was actually impressed by Claus' driving. The AWD of the TechArt car helped Claus, but the last stretch was too long for Claus to bring home the crown against Alexander's mystery car. In a previous episode of Super Cars Exposed Alexander brought out his Carrera GT for Tanner to beat on in the mountains. The guys got money and loves to drive his cars...
