First off, let me just mention how great this board is to the average wrench turner. I've found many things to help me maintain my cars here. With that said, I'd like to throw another possible project out there.
Some time ago I purchased a sweet example of a 1982 911SC. I checked out the paperwork, Cardex, and every website to make sure that it wasn't anything "special". You see, the goal was to find a run-of-the-mill 911SC and modify it.
The plan is to attach 930 turbo flares (Dansk), 993 front fenders (I know channel mods must be done), and SSI exchangers/dual muffler. The thing is I'm still playing with the idea of the front & rear bumpers (turbo 3-pc rear from Better Bodies look nice), and side skirts. After the modifications to the 993 fenders (inc. hood mods), finding skirts that will work with 930 flares and 993 fronts may be an issue.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Btw: the fenders are already purchased :)

welcome home
advice: do whatever you like , keep in mind that when you goto sell, if you sell, your preference may dictate the final price you get. just enjoy the car and enjoy the work. I have almost as good a time driving my p-car as i do under it, or just staring at it in the garage or driveway.
Keep in mind I said almost

also before anyone else yellspictures please

I've always been a big fan of the FVD conversion wings, for me this is the perfect combo

The topic of this thread gives me the shivers. Anytime we have to "design by committee" at work it ends up sapping us of any and all creativity.

+1 on do what suits YOUR tastes.

GO BUCKEYES!

What type of headlights are these ? They look cool !

What mod is required on the fenders? Do you have any detail pictures or info?

Thanks

Don't worry. The "Design by committee" title is just a title. I have an idea of the look, and that FVD conversion is extremely close. The trick is that the quarters and fenders have to be steel. Fiberglass is for skirts and bumper skins.
I think the overall look should be nice.

BTW: BUCKEYES?!? Bah!! I'm a transplant, ILLINI RULE!

993 headlights. Fenders are a kit from FVD. Looks fantastic and might well be my next project.
