New Wheels (Before and After)

Here's some shots of my car going from original 15" phone dials to 16" inch Fuchs. Both sets are 6's and 7's but the Fuchs make it a very different car IMO., Thanks for lookin', (Altho I still like the phone dial look too)

Your car looks great with the Fuchs wheel but I would keep the phone dials.
At 15 inch they're practical and robust for Winter use.
(That's if you use your car during winter)

Funny, friend has a 79 928 with phone dials could not stand them, but on a 911 the seam to work. But the Fuchs are great! Nice look.

IMHO a 10000000% improvement in the looks....

I know the phone dials are a love or hate type relationship, but I REALLY like the look of the Fuchs compared to the phone dials......GREAT choice!!! Your car looks great as well...!

Phonies just don't work on 911s... the fuchs look great though.

Sure they do, as well as on 944's.

Everyone has Fuchs including me, two sets.

These types of opinons are totally subjective, and what others think about what looks good to someone else is just that an opinion. Trust your eye, it's your car.

That is the first time I have seen dials on a 911. They look pretty damn good, but the fuchs look much better. Nice work!

You need to move the 7s to the front and go find some 8s for the back ... THAT'S the combo.

The Phone Dials were cool, too. It's good to be different.

Yeah, I think 7's and 8's are the best look and may go that way if I can find good 8's, and as long as I don't have to roll the fenders; my car sits pretty low and want to avoid having fender damage at all costs. In any case thanks everyone for your positive opinions.

I'm a huge fuchs fan but on this colour combo they look good and individual.

I think the problem with phonies on a 911 is that the design of the 911 is so classic while the phonies have a much more modern look to them, they clash IMHO and many would agree. Porsche and their customers thought so also as evidence by their short lived appearance as standard wheel fitment.

I do wonder however how very wide phonies would look on a widebody 964???

That may work.

I love Fuchs.

However, when I see the PD's on an 84 I think original unmolested car. They do make the car stand from the crowd.
