Additional fuchs question
 

Can a Fuchs 7X16 rear wheel rim (#911.361.020.44) be mounted on the front of an '80SC? The manual for the car calls for 6X16 (911.361.020.43) on the front. Thanks.

I have 7x16 Fuchs on the front of my '73. I'm using 225 tires, and have rolled the fender lips for better clearance. You should be able to use 205s with stock fender lips.

I have 7x16s on the front and 8x16s on the rear of my '80 SC coupe. AND, the car has been lowered about an inch or so. I did have to go to Bilstein HD shocks (front) and Sport shocks (rear) to reduce body roll. No problems with the tire to fender gap. I have 205-16s on the front and 245-16s on the rear.
