Door won't lock = can't drive
I somehow installed my driver's door lock mechanism wrong. The door opens fine and the key turns fine, but the mechanism doesn't lock or unlock. Even when I lock the door from the inside, the door opens. I have the door panel off, but can't really see anything. Please tell me I don't have to pull the window frame and start over.

Hmm - got a pic?
All I can think is you got the lock mechanism upside down on the outside door handle... AND/OR it is not fully engaging the lock mechanism to not allow the mechanics to not connect. Shoot - I forget how this even works now without seeing it.

Make sure the toggling lock pin on the handle is between the rocker on the latch.
