headlights/radio/window switch relationship?
 

86 carrera, no electrical issues - all of a sudden activating window switches is momentarily cutting out my radio. Also, transitioning from high to low beams cuts out radio as well. high beams on, operate window switch, see a slight dip in headlights....seems like a strange short - any ideas?

I always check the ground points first with this type of symptom. If one ground gets corroded, one or two subsystems might affect each other. If two grounds are lifting, all kinds of weird things will happen. It looks like you're as close to the Atlantic as I am to the Pacific, so your electrical system definitely needs close attention. Do you have a multimeter and a Bentley manual?
