Sorry Warren, I'm out the door to go pick up some drunk room mates.

I said that because I took my P/cs up to the machinist to have him measure the cylinders for olvality and spec. He said that he could definately see some ring wear at the top from the three rings. And when I originally thought he mic'ed my piston skirts I was wrong...he was just checking for distortion or mushrooming as he called it. So I am going to have him measure those too. As we prodded through my spec book he seemed to think that they were giving some pretty tight tolerances. So I am just mentally preparing myself for the worst.
I might end up having to replace them with a set of Alusil P/Cs from EBS.
It would be $750 just to replate my bores...then there is the piston cost.
A set of Alusil P/Cs will cost me $900 and I can get the 9.3:1 compression set too.
I dunno...
