1975 Fuel Pump help.

OK, Fuel pump started making some louder than normal buzzing to and from the Denver Concours on Sunday. Car is a 1975 Carrera US spec. Pump # 911-608-110-02

I see that it's NLA, and the Pelican replacement states some modification required. Can anybody tell me exactly what that would be, and what extra parts I will need?

I'm running very short on time and have one day to work on the car next week (tuesday) to get it ready for Parade. Hoping to have no Gotcha's on Tuesday.

Anybody install the above pump and can lend advice?

Other option is OEM on ebay, but description and numbers are ifffy... some of the bosh numbers his lists are for mfi ect.

On my 76 911s, the outlet banjo fitting is on the side of the pump,,with a 12 or 14 mm hollow bolt,,, I have not replaced my old pump (yet) but I recon I will need a new smaller hole banjo fitting and good small hose clamps (don't really like common hose clamps on smaller dia. high pressure fuel lines, but use two, ) Then the old pump has a plug in terminal and the new one has seperate terminals, so you need a crimping tool.... hope this helps... g rad

Thanks, I put my hands on the car last night.

I also "think" I found the oem from ebay. I had the woman open the box and describe it ect. I went ahead and bought it. Hope it shows up as the right one.

Will report back next week.
