Priming Oil System in '89 Carerra?
Hi all,
My car has been off the road for around 3 weeks whilst I've been doing my TT conversion. What's the best way to prime the oil system when I'm ready to fire her up for the first time? I assume I just disconnect the DME Relay and crank the motor until she registers oil pressure, check for leaks, then reconnect the DME relay and fire her up? Advice appreciated ![]()

I've read it should be primed? Maybe being over cautious?

You describe the cautious procedure correctly.
