3.2 into a 75 Targa...

I have completed the "top end" rebuild on my 3.2 (going into my 75 Targa) & have it buttoned up...I spend this morning pulling out the G-50 (87 motor) trans studs & putting in the shorter 915 trans studs.....then was turning my attention to the tinwork the 3.2 uses by the flywheel with a sensor at the top (case seam) & a double sensor off to the right side of the case below the trans stud...as I looked at my 915 flywheel & the sensors, I wondered if the flywheel is missing something in that only one of the three mentioned sensors will line up with the starter ring gear, the other two point at the plain steel rim of the flywheel
Is there supposed to be another "ring" on the 3.2 version 915 flywheel, right next to the starter ring gear, for those other two sensors ????
ALSO....I was going to "upgrade" to the 74' style clutch arm/cable instead of the 90 degree bend 75' version.
I have the 74 cable & clutchfork arm/lever, is there any other parts needed ???
Other then a bit of "bling" factor, is there any reason to switch from the stock 3.2 airfilter/box/snout to the "K&N" cone style ????

Yes, there is another ring for these sensor. When I made the swap on my car it came with the engine.

Thanks...especially for the picture...got a heads up from a Porsche Mechanic familiar with this type of conversion....& pointed out that there is a wee allen bolt on the plain steel rim of the flywheel that is the activator for the 2 sensors closest to the case....& the 3rd one that's a bit farther out reads the teeth on the starter ring.
Now it's time to cut the hole for the DME harness to come through from the engine.

Anyone have a pic of their DME/altimeter/relay setup under the drivers seat ???

You need the 84 to 86 flywheel for sensor pickup. Your 75 clutch pkg will work. Make sure your double sensor is .8mm from the teeth of the flywheel.
You need to notch your trans case to allow the sensors to locate. The top sensor hooks to nothing it is merely diagnostic at the dealer
Ths driver seat comesout. I usually put a 1.5 inch hole saw above the torque tube. Run the harness under the seat bracket and the brain, relay and alt sensor bolt to the ridge of the floor pan. I like to bolt the brain slightly higher to keep the threat of water off of it.
Hints:
hook the coil wire into the emergency lights so there is power to start
the fuel pump will power from the brain so remove the wire to the top of the fuel pump fuse and install the wire from the brain. If you have power to the 2 steps of the relay ubder the seat You should be able to start
Note
Your clutch cable not going around the 90 degrees will interfere with cross over pipe of the carrera
The best combo for the clutch would be the longer verticle shaft to the fingers on the throw out bearing and the cable locator bolted to the trans and the helper spring of the later 77 on transmissions. That also calls for the 77 and later clutch cable
