hi,just re packing bearings and replaceing boots on my 72,put the thrust washer on and clip wont go in groove reverse washer and fits easy,is there a tool to put tension on the bearing assembly,any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.thanks,frank:confused:

The spring washer mustbe placed in the correct direction and a press used to compress it enough to install the clip.
