Sunroof switch
Will somebody please explain the procedure to replace the electric sunroof switch for a '79 911 SC? Do I have to disassemble part of the dash? Is there a simpler approach?

You should be able to push it out from behind, as w/ the gauges.
BTW I was able to repair mine. It was easy to open up. The rocker inside rides on a pivot and makes contact w/ some metal pieces. I think all I had to do was clean it and rebend the contacts, which had fatigued over time and use.
