Here is a good comparison of tint vs. no tint on my 911.

<br> http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1244606591.jpg The top is how she is sitting now. Added the lip to the YB, and recessed those fogs behind the grill. Replaced front grill with non painted grill. The Colorado roads beat the paint off the metal on painted ones and it looks pretty bad after a bit. |
Big improvement!!! Sweet Porsche!
Love the yellow bird look. I removed my tint as well. |
A lot better...
|
hahaha...nice......the man always at work....great job...
|
How hard was it to remove the tint?
My last two Porsche came with tint and it cost me about $250 each time to have it removed. |
Nice improvements.

Having lived in the south for most of my life, I want tint on my windows to keep the interior cooler and save it from fading. Probably not as important up in CO.
I like the changes to the bumper, but I would of keep the tint. If you're happy, that is all that really matters. |

I take it they did not let you watch them remove it. |
Thanks erryone!
It cost me $200 I think. They were concerned about the rear window? but it was just fine. I really rather like the greenish hue of the stock windows. For sure -always at work... :) |
getting mine removed as we speak. have been quote $99 for hte job.

The fishbowl look is just way better on a 911. Nice change....love your car
|
looks good without tint... i've considered taking mine off too but it gets pretty hot in nebraska(with the exception of this year... tornadoes so far) and my tint is pretty light - still keeps interior quite a bit cooler than w/o tint.
