Calling PeterZ, JW, sc_rufctr, Grady or Matt Monson For The Answer

I am referring this to you gentlemen because my question involves very specific dimensional information that only a 915 transmission expert like yourselves would likely know.

I'm looking at a 915 aluminum case with the infamous loose pinion bearing race. I want to determine how far out of factory spec the bore is that the pinion bearing race presses into.

I'm hoping one of you has the factory center to center specifications and the reference points its based on for the pinion bearing race bore?

If you have the specifications, I would appreciate it if you would share that information with me.

If you do not have it, perhaps you can refer me to someone who does that would be willing to share it with me.

Thank you

i don't think it is written anywhere specifically. find a case with a tight race and measure it.
