high beam flasher
Has anyone replaced their high beam stalk on a 1987 or the like 911? Mine works when you push the stalk to leave the highs on but when you pull it towards you when the lights are off (you know when you want to flash a fellow driver) no dice! If so how difficult to do?

Dozens of posts on this subject. Do a search for stalk switch. It's an easy job, but there are a bunch of wires between the stalk switch and the headlight switch. Remove/replace them one-by-one.
Also, consider installing a relay kit in the headlight system. It'll save your new switch from frying. I'm pretty sure out host sells them. Scott

+1 for the relay install. Very quick & easy, plus it made my FTP work again without my having to install a new switch.
