Color

Hi Guy's

I am new on this forum.
My hobby is changing vw beetles, and i am currently working on a '56 oval window with a lot of Porsche stuff. (check my signature)

I was not sure what the color of this '56 should be, until I found this pic. of a very nice Porsche.

Can anyone tell we what color this is??

Thanks, Paul.

Not a stock color obviously...I'd call it "olive drab".

I'd say Slate Grey like McQueen's 911 from the movie LeMans.

The McQueen's porsche is more gray as this one, this one looks a little braun'ish

Paul.

Looks like the same car indeed, diff. color.

changed from Army Green to Navy Gray (also known as "Battleship Gray"). I had a high school English teacher whose hair was exactly the same color. ;)

I would say it's the same color, but the difference comes from indoor fluorescent light vs. outdoor natural light, combined with different surrounding reflected colors, different cameras, etc. Besides, who would re-spray a car like that just to get that small change and then replace all of the small vinyl art exactly as it was?
