Don't laugh pls. I have a door off the car. Need to actuate the electric motor in for the window. Can i use a portable jumper--ground the door (or motor) and use one of the leads to operate the motor? With out damage?

YES!!!! The electric motor operates on 12-volts power from your car's battery. So there will be problem using a 12-volt jumper. Just make sure the positive (+) cable does not come in contact with the door's metal section.

There are 2 wires coming off the motor so it requires 2 jumpers. Hook your battery up one way and it will go up, switch the leads and it will go down.
