What a joke, the newest fad to hit the shelves
Okay,, I'm in Pepboys look for oil and stuff when I notice that they now make tinted tire dressing. Basically Armor All with either green, blue, silver, or red tint. HA HA!
Maybe I'll get that, along with a big ol' FART TUBE muffler for my Carrera. What do you think? :-) ------------------ 85 Carrera Targa |

I'm PI$$ED !
![]() When I was doing my jack I didn't see this stuff at Pep Boys ! Do you think it will work on my jacks wheels. By the way - I did look at the skull shifter knob to add to the jack handle - they want $15 for that !!! I guess that goes to show you that TACKY doesn't come cheap ! ![]() ------------------ Tom Sharpes 90 C2 Targa http://members.rennlist.com/5150targa |

Tom, You can alway add the skull shift knob later, as well as some purple neon tubes for the bottom of the jack.
It may be hard to find gold spoke wheels with big center knockoffs that small though. |

Be kind of fun to use the colored wheel dressing on the track tires for DE.
- I receive a lot of laughs when I occasionally attach a small 4 inch long, red, Toro badge on the rear deck of the SC for DEs. Was particularly true when I was running the dual, 4" outlet Monty muffler. Loud! The badge fell off my lawn mower. The red color matches the Guards Red almost perfectly. Chuck |

I guess that stuff would be just the ticket for the Rice Burners that want to look like they've got the Pirelli PZero Rosso's, but don't want to spend the coin!

DAMN!
Too bad the ole' Pimpster didn't make it long enough to see "this" Fargin' LEAP FOREWARD in Automotive Technology! Maybe if I had used the wheel dressing I could have reduced the rolling wind resistance a notch or two and kept my tranny from blowin' out on me. Live and learn I guess. ------------------ Leland Pate ___79 SC Targa |

Wow...I'm cooler than I thought. My car is presently sporting a set of those old Michelin 'redline' tires like the old hotwheels had. Let's see Pirelli beat that.
![]() Chuck....never really thought about it, but I guess ol' Briggs and Stratton is a distant cousin to the boxer! ------------------ Clint 73T mfi coupe [This message has been edited by Rustbucket (edited 01-23-2001).] |

I actually put a fart tube Pep Boys (but got it at autozone) exhaust tip on my machine when I thought the Bursch just wasn't obnoxious and loud enough.
I kept it for about a month because, well I LIVE in rice burner territory: there's loud, then there's loud with a few horsies to boot, and I like to show em the difference. I finally took it off however, but not because it wasn't totally *****en or anything like that(sardonic grin). I took it off because it was just too godd@amned loud, and served no purpose. And I felt kinda dumb after a while ![]() ------------------ Kurt B 1984 911 Carrera Cabriolet 75 914 1.8 |
