Sorry. Love the prop. sim games, WWII variety. My kid can fly circles around me now though, sigh. At nine years of age, he won't be taking the P-car for a spin anytime soon---I'd be too jealous of his abilities!!

There is an old saying in Motorcycle-land: you don't own a vehicle 'til you've done The Ton. How the early bikes did this I can't say, but maybe this expression came from the Ace crowd and their Tritons and whatnot. Allthesame, I pulled my '78 SC Targa over 100mph several times, but never with the top on (leaks; fear of flyoff). Now I could probably top that if my right foot and left mind weren't so weak!

Had my 78 911 SC Targa up to 125 coming down from Buford on 985. Not much traffic and had about 2 miles in front of me. Car handled great top on and it was stable.

had my 944 just past 130....pssssttttt lost a vavle stem. Thank you lord for those x-gt's as for my 911...it will never touch 100mph.

I use to own a modified corrado vr6 that I brought up to 248 km/h and while coatin down at about 220km/h, a damn prelude cut in front of me. I actually had to slam the brakes at that speed! I had to wait at the side of the highway for the brakes to stop smokin. After that i swore I wouldn't be so stupid and try another top speed run.. When I got the porsche, i took a trip down to florida and I found a nice long straight-a-way so I couldn't help it. The only thing I was worried about was that I didn't want my girlfriend to get scared but to my surprise, as we passsed 200km/h, she reached for the movie camera! Anyway, we hit a hair below 250km/h, it wasn't redlined but it wouldn't go any more. This summer i will try again with my turbo installed I should be able to redline fifth, how fast is that?
