more Winter havoc/tensioner?

My old '67 S motor is not liking the cold. I am hearing a very slight metallic ring- like sound ( a chain rolling on a hard surface) during warmup..comming from my left chainbox. After 5 minutes it is gone. Could this be a failing tensioner, or worn ramp? Do tensioners tend to stick due to cold temps? The problem has only come on since the temps dropped below 20 degrees.

Could be a broken ramp.
