My new C2 web site

Hi All ! I have finally completed my new web site for my C2. It is not as extensive as the one I had for my 74 because this car is in great shape. Just lowering, wheels and wing - but that was enough to drain my wallet for a while. Stop by and take a look. And for those of you that secretly want to customize your jack YES I have included a pictorial of it on page 4 - it is definately a must see ! http://members.rennlist.com/myc2 Thanks to all of you that I snagged stuff from to put my site together ! ------------------ Tom Sharpes 90 C2 Targa http://members.rennlist.com/myc2

Nice site! Easy to navigate, plenty of pictures. I miss the 74, in some ways, but the C2 is a beautiful car. ------------------ Jack Olsen 1973 911 T (3.6) sunroof coupe jackolsen@mediaone.net

Tom...the Carrera 2 looks great, the jack even better , but that 74 is/was an incredible looking machine! Nice work all around. I noticed you popped-in the 'save-the-flash' icon...haven't seen that in a while. Do the guys on this board regularly 'do the flash thing' when they pass fellow porschers? (or is it pretty much dead?) ------------------ Clint 73T mfi coupe

Tom, Great looking site and great looking P-cars. I must say you do an outstanding job on the detail work. When are the eyeballs going in the air intakes in the 993 turbo tail? lol. Definite bookmark site to get you going into the world of P-cars and the start of the world of customized floor jacks. I wonder just how many times they had to replace that street sign. ------------------------- Paul 78SC Targa

< What are you doing tonight around midnight ? I have to admit I am no web master. I was going to a lot more with hyperlinked pix and stuff, but it was taking away time from my jack retoration. I really enjoyed doing all of the stuff to the 74 and I learned a lot about it from asking questions and getting advice here and on the Rennlist. When I first got the C2 I felt kinda`funny because I had esentially the same car looking at it from the outside. After getting to know the car better I really appreciate the difference - it is soooo powerful and has tons of torque. I was still not happy about the ride height, wheels or the faux spoiler but that's been taken care of. Now that I have gotten it how I want it I am very happy with it and the only thing I miss is being able to tinker with it more. I do miss the lightness and the manual steering of the 74 - it was a blast to rip over Ortega and through De Luz Cyn sawing on the wheel and shifting like a mad man to keep the 2.7 in the torque band. Man the car would wear you out on a trip like that ! Oh well, new car - new year and we (OCR/PCA)have a bunch of tours planned as well as racing events. We have signed a deal with Irwindale Raceway to hold 10 racing events there this year ! Jack, I expect to see you out at some of these with Black Beauty ! Thanks for the comments ! ------------------ Tom Sharpes 90 C2 Targa http://members.rennlist.com/myc2
