What is This???

OK, I give. What is this thing with the ring shaped end between the fuel block and the air horn?

'77 3.0 if it matters at all.

It's a plug for the hole where the mixture adjust screw lives. The ring-shaped part is called a "handle." Grasp with your thumb and first finger and pull up.

That would be the fuel mixture tool stuck in the adjustment hole.

Hey, at least you don't have to buy one!!!

Ahhh, so I would guess that there is a squared or allen type end hiding in the plug, yes?

Unless it's only a plug. Then you'll need a long 3mm allen.

Nope, not the adjustment tool, just the plug to keep crap out of the hole.

Well, whaddyaknow? Mine had no plug and I have not seen another plug with the "handle" attached.

It sure looked as if someone had tried to cram the tool through the plug to make the adjustment.

Oh, that part is NLA from Pelican.

Looking at it closer reveals it is just a plug with a handle on it. You still need the 3mm allen key.

That's actually the anti-rust force field antenna. But it seems to be installed backwards.
