Windshield Washer Reservoir Repair

1979 911 SC Is it possible to repair small crack in reservoir.

Mine is some sort of polypropylene and my experience in trying to glue that stuff is not good. There are some industrial products that are supposed to work. If it is truly just a small crack I'd be tempted to try a hot glue gun. Melting on a patch might work if crack is larger. Interested in hearing any others ideas. Ken
