Hi Folks New to Forum Guy
Hello Everyone,
I've been lurking here for a while, kind of new to internet forums. First thanks all of you, already several problems I've had have been resolved by searching the threads here. I found Pelican indirectly after visiting the Porsche dealership in Anchorage in search of a couple of heater knobs. They didn't have them but told me about Pelican Parts. As they say the rest is history! So here are details of my car, it is a 1986 Iris Blue Metallic Carrera. I bought it absolutely all wrong, no PPI emotional purchase kind of thing. However, luck was on my side and it has been an excellent car so far. So without wasting any more space here are the pics.

Welcome....some of the best times in life are based on emotion....Congrats on a very nice looking car....welcome aboard...watch out for the slippery slopes around here though

Great color choice, I have an iris blue 911 as well. Welcome, this is truly a great place for porsche owners. There is a great bunch of very intelligent and equally witty porsche men and women here. Glad to meet you, Chris.

Wow! Thank you all for the welcome! Yes, Pelican had the knobs and at a reasonable price too. I do like blue...kinda shows doesn't it. Stormmaster thanks for the slippery slope warning, I have seen a couple of threads go a little crazy!

WELCOME. No ppi for me either , no research always fancied one , seen one and bought it .Probably paid too much for it to, but no regrets. Hope you enjoy yours.

Opposite side of HWY 410 on the west side, but Yakima is one of my favorite day drives in the summer. Beautiful car, enjoy.
