Dash Board Restoration
Any opinions on 928 Leather Shop vs Just Dashes for dash board restoration. Would like to here from people who have used either of these companys on their car or if someone knows of another place that does it. Getting ready to send mine off. Thanks

I used 928 Leather Shop and am happy with the results. One thing to keep in mind is that they do their 911 dashes with a stitched seam around the top of the instrument binnacle. Definitely not "stock". However, I was happy with it and the price was certainly good.

+1 on 928Leather
The folks there will work with you when deciding on the type of covering (leather, vinyl, etc.) Yes, their standard 911 dash recovering does use edge stitching as shown, but they probably can also do "stock look" if that is what you want. Me, I like the stitching as it matches my steering wheel and door stitching. I also have a black dash with black stitching so it is far less prominent than the stitching shown in the above photo. |

Yeah, the above are both good points... Rob may be able to offer it now without the stitching. And, any colour is available for the stitching. I liked the stitching so I went with a strong contrast. I imagine black stitching would be much more stealth.
