Diameter of stock front sway bar?
I'm currently in the process of replacing every bushing in the suspension of my eurospec -72 911S, and the problem is that I don't know exactly which diameter the s*t*o*c*k front swaybar (droplink, since it's a -72) has.
Does anyone know? Also - does anyone have any experience with the rear spring plate bushings that Tweeks offer? It doesn't say in the catalogue what they are made of, and I don't want too much sqeak... http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/tongue.gif ------------------ 1972 911S Targa ************************ http://home1.swipnet.se/~w-15567/Eleven.htm |
Bo,
The stock anti-roll bars on a '72 'S' are 15 mm, front and rear, per the factory spec book. Assuming you mean the Christmas Tweeks catalog, #30D, the bushings on p. 159 ... the fine print says polyurethane! ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |
Thanks for your reply Warren - does that mean that I should go with the 16mm bushings, since there IS no 15mm bushings? (again Tweeks, p159) http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/confused.gif
