How Old is this Dansk SS Muffler?

This muffler recently came into my possession to which I thank my benefactor! It has never been installed. The question is how old is it. I believe it to be at least 20 years old and possibly much older. Any way to date it? No I am not going to flip it and yes it is going on my 911!

Judging by the angle of the tips, that may be a longhood muffler. If it is, it won't work with the stock bumper on a post-73 car without some surgery on the muffler.

I believe it is a long hood muffler and you are correct in that I will have to rotate the tips.
