Xtreme Cylinder Heads

Guys,

Look at what I found on eBay, Xtreme Cylinder Heads is offering to sell un-machined head castings.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PORSCHE-911-RAW-UN-MACHINED-CYLINDER-HEADS-CASTINGS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4634Q2em332Q2e l1262QQhashZitem3a50285aeeQQitemZ250452925166QQptZ RaceQ5fCarQ5fParts

In case you don’t want to get Xtreme build the heads for you, these will allow you to have your machinist build heads to your specs. The ad says that Xtreme will include machinist advice.

This sounds like a great opportunity for our hot-rod needs or to replace some of our “un-obtainium” pieces.

I think that Bill from Xtreme posts here and perhaps he can pitch in more info on what he can do for us or what can be done with the raw castings and what the advantages of his heads are over the factory units.

BTW, Bill works on the heads of my race car and does a great job with them!

Forgot to mention, I have no ownership interest on Xtreme; I'm just a happy customer.

Juan, now we can recreate the 'peanut' heads that Henry Schmidt posted pictures of last year.

I have no direct experience but the pictures of their work and the testimonials from customers speak highly.

Jamie,

I use them and they are great, very stable on temperatures.

I remember the peanut head post (on the engine forum right?). Not sure what the conclusion was regarding the efficiency of that design though.

I use 69 S spec heads on mine which i gather is perhaps not the best shape but its correct for my application.

I like this before and after photo of the heads (I got it from their website)

Juan

I have Bill's maxed out stock castings on my engine. I can only imagine what the new heads can do!

Bill is not the run of the mill Porsche guy. This guy does some of the sickest port work you will ever see!

Thank you all once again for the great feedback.
I really just wanted the Porsche community to know that the possibilities for anyone who has had thoughts or ideas that seemed impossible in the past are now a reality.
I am willing to answer any questions on this
