Bilstein Rear Shocks

I have a pair of Bilstein Sport rear shocks to fit to my 76 3.0 Carrera. The bottom mounting eyelet is 12mm which from what I have read will not fit my car as it uses a 14mm mounting bolt. Can I press the old brass bush out and press in a larger one or do I have to replace the rubber that it is pressed into as well? If so where do I source one from - the local Bilstein distributors are unable to help me out.
