1984 Pwr Window wiring diagram
Mr. Smartguy (me) pulled the power window switches and did not write a diagram down, does anybody have a diagram for the driver a pass power window switches? This is for a 1984 Carrera.

always have a spare window switch in your glovebox. whenever you need to remove the door card, you can plug the wires from the car's switch into the spare. I've had my door panel apart so many times, im not even sure if the same switches are in the same locations or if the spare is currently in rotation or back in the glovebox, but they are all the same part so who cares.

I know exactly what you are talking about, dimeified. Installing those door panels back on sucks bigtime! It would be nice if the door switch wires had a little more slack. Frankly, I'm surprised that the spade connectors don't slide right off the terminals and blow the fuse being old and all...

I am presently delaying a rattle repair and door lock issue for just this reason. I do like the spare switch idea though....
