Interesting, have you ever had your car on the dyno before any of the engine, exhaust or chip mods?

I have an 85 ROW with a cat bypass and sport muffler, but stock chip, and just kicked over 118K miles.

Thanks for posting regardless,

Tony

Unfortunately I never did get a baseline reading when my car was completely ROW stock when I acquired it. In any case, I'm quite pleased with the numbers and find them believable as the ROW motor is rated at 231hp. I would guess yours would be similar.

I haven't had my car on a dyno either, but those numbers do seem about right. I drove a couple other carreras before purchasing mine, and mine does seem to pull a little harder. However, it is so hard to judge with so many little things that can be tweeked on these cars.

Did you do all the work at once or was it gradual? I definitely noticed a big change in the throttle response when I took off the cat and opened up the muffler, so I am curious about how much better the chip will make things.

Thanks again,

Tony
