Oil Pressure Gauge for '74 Targa

Hi,

My 1974 911 Targa has the Oil Temp gauge with only a Oil Press idiot light – no oil press gauge. If I get the gauge that has both the oil temp and oil pressure gauges built in what do I have to do to hook up the oil press gauge? Is it as simple as replacing the sender on the engine and plugging everything in?
