I am surprised a set of chrome H4's with tax, delivery, bulbs, and relays is now looking to be firmly over $500!

Hard to believe.

Wonder what made the price bump so much.

I recently bought a pair of chrome H4's for my backdate project and I was amazed at the price too.

Yup, me too.

So I went with e-code Hella's and 100w bulbs with the J-West relay. Now they're almost as bright as HID's, and a fraction of the cost. I like the H4 look, but I can use the money on other projects.

yeah I remeber paying 120 each for mine 6 years ago. I know I saw someone had them on sale as a complete package recently for $435 or so just recently can't remember whom though

I remember trading my USA lights for a set of H1's in the mid to late 80's, when everyone was taking them off the euro cars and installing the USA lights. I guess we all have "I remember when" stories....
