call bill at rudtners. i wish he would move his shop to ohio. i just had a ppi with leakdown performed and it was $419 after tax. it saved me more than $14k by revealing a 60% loss in cylinder #1.

Another good shop in Huntington Sation is Lynmor Motorsports. Both Rich and Tim are honest, very reasonable and good at what they do. I had my PPI done by them.

GT Precision in Massapequa
Tony Giordano at GT has been in the Porsche biz since the mid sixties, a great guy, ex USMC and very fair.

+1 for Bill Rudtner, I have all my porsche and bmw work performed there (from oil changes to engine builds). He's the most helpful and knowledgeable mechanic I've ever met.

Location (Long Island covers a fairly large area). Plus, its always good to have several options.
