Wiring Cibie headlights with parking lights?

Have ordered some Cibie H-4's with provision for (integral, non stock) parking lights and am wondering how to wire them. Choice seems to be to run a wire from the lamp along the main harness thru the bucket to the fuse box or drill thru the bucket and somehow break into the parking light harness. Thoughts?

The factory lighting harness on my car terminates in the bucket with a female spade you would connect to the Euro parking/city lights, but is actually connected, on a US car, to the wiring harness that connects to the US running lights (male spade end IIRC).

I made a couple of 'Y' splitters with one male and two female spade connectors and run both the Bosch parking/city lights and the US running lights.

Take a look inside the bucket and see what you have.

Well I opened the bucket and looked. Haven't sorted it out yet but I have something very much like what you describe. Thanks much for the help.
