nardi steering wheel
just curious but,when I baught my car the po made much about the nardi steering wheel he had fitted. Its a nice wheel and I would like to get some more info on it, any leads please,

My PO (drug dealer) also put in a Nardi wood steering wheel. It is even "signed" with a vibrating etcher and lacquered over. I believe I saw some in "performance products". I will search and advise. He also had wood veneer put across the dash.

I also have a Nardi three spoke wheel, signed, and when I saw one go for $1600 on Ebay I thought I'd hit the jackpot but after researching, emailing other 356/912 owners, I found that the early, pre 1965 wood wheel with the small black horn button w/ porsche logo is sought after, and the slightly larger button (that looks identical except for the horn button dimension, about an inch larger) is, in my case, made in 1967. I saw one un-refinished wheel that looked the same go for $500 on Ebay. My guess is the newer and more widely available, the less the value - but I could be wrong.
I can say while researching it I found most of information from P fans, not books. How about a picture? |
