Roof Box ! Holiday dilemma

Not really the correct image for a Porsche
but does anyone have some advice on roof boxes, Thurle and the like.

I'm travelling down to the south of France with my family this summer and there is no chance of getting the three of us, plus two weeks of things in the 964.
