Fuel Problem

My car has a 3.0 911SC engine fitted with Weber carbs. Yesterday at the track it behaved awkward and I would appreciate any help or suggestions.fficeffice" />>>
Going into any corner right or left it felt like the engine is not getting fuel and the power dropped significantly. Once onto the straight the power would be back to normal. The longer I was on the track the worse it became and it would only recover halfway down a long straight.>>
Driving home it also became a real problem especially during the overtaking of other vehicles on the road and this did not include any cornering.>>
Would it be the fuel pump going or should I search for something deeper?>>
Your comments will be appreciated
