Best source for bulk 7mm ignition wire?

Can't seem to find locally in Charlotte, NC. Any suggestions as to where and the best type? I'm interested in 7mm non shielded silicone wire (I think)

Chris. I am having similar trouble here. I'm ready to e-shop for it and wait for shipping. Motorcycle shops are among the most likely to have some, but expect BLACK. Speed shops may have more colorful stuff, but likely to be 8mm.

I want 7mm solid core (non-resistor) wire that is orangish red like my air shroud.

I spent several hours a few weeks ago doing the online hunt for solid core 7mm. Left messages at many places and mostly came up short. Most motorcycle shops do have 7mm but not solid core and it is black. This is probally the route I will go. I'll try to clean up my braiding as a result of not getting colorful.

Chris, if you can't find it in Charlotte, NACSAR center of the US, it may not be in production anymore. I got mine from Mesa Performance in So. Cal., but it was in the back.

I think I might have found some wire. I called the NAPA distribution center and the guy said he had 2 types of bulk ignition wire. Both are 7mm, the first is resistor, Silicone, gray "High Heat" wire and costs $49.99 per 100', the second was White wire, Metallic, manufactured by Belden and was $149.00 per 100'. I'm not sure which is the best for the P-Car....advice....

I replaced my 88 Carrera wires with Blue Ignitor wire from:
hppt://rapidparts.com
They sell premade wire sets for German cars but i think they sell the wire in bulk too.

They claim to use "virgin silicone." Similar to virgin olive oil? I resist the temptation to make a more salubrious joke.
