PELICAN PARTS RULES!!!
As you may have gathered from the posts below, I am currently trying to put a high amp alternator in my 78 911SC. Well, I have contacted several (all) of the Porsche parts houses, and got the indifferent runaround from all of them, except Pelican.
I emailed Bob this morning, and he has answered me TWICE so far, with pictures, offering two solutions to my problem. That kind of service is rare if not extinct in this day and age. |

I'm just about to order more parts from Pelican. FWIW.

Just to add to the "Hooray Pelican" sentiment. When I restored my Turbo, I couldnt find new Whale Tail rubber anywhere, except a few aftermarket ones (the ones that rust out) for $700 plus and 6-8 weeks for delivery. Pelican found me a factory one for less and got in there in 2 weeks!
Youse guys rule! |
