San Francisco and Las Vegas events in August?
This Aussie is on his way up to your hemisphere during the first 2 weeks in August and was wondering if there are any happenings I shouldn't miss during this time.

August 14-16 is the historic races at Laguna-Seca, about 2 hours south of San Francisco. This year, the honored marque is Porsche. http://www.montereyhistoric.com/
Actually, it's a week long event in the Monterey area. Lots to do and see for the car guy. There's the Concourse de Italiano, http://www.concorso.com/, the concourse at Pebble Beach, http://www.pebblebeachconcours.net/, Wayne's wine run, and more! |
