Yippee, fixed 2.7L low power
My 1974 2.7L 911 suddenly lost all it's pep one day. I thought that it was from not driving it and storing it in my very damp garage during the monsoon of a June that we had. Started by drying everything out then adjust valves, replace wires, dist, check and clean plugs without any luck - I was starting to fear the worst - cam chain skip a tooth, bad compression etc.
On a whim I pulled each injector out and pushed up on the air sensor plate observing the mist coming out of each injector. The last one squirted a stream like a water pistol - bingo! New injector from Pelican and she runs better than ever after all the stuff I did. Thanks for all your help. Harry |
hey, that sounds like a good diagnosis procedure. I'll have to remember that one, just-in-case. thanks for posting it

another CIS success story! and injectors are cheap! start running Techroline in the fuel every month or so.
