Nice cars guys. I do the same at cruise nights here in Ct. Usually the only Porsche. Defiantly a fun time.

Whoa, that is one of the sweetest "SC's" I have seen in a long time. The silver one, I mean. It looks as though you just poured molten aluminum over the entire car.

No offense to your buddy with the red one. His is nice, too.

Okay, not to be ,mean to the Redhead, but the Silver car is really something to look at!! I love the detail on the wheels, and what the heck tail is that? Very nice kit and very nicely done. The red one is nice too, of course. But more stock.

It's incredible how new bumpers front and rear and new wheels can make the SC look like a modern day 911. A non-enthusiasts would likely claim the car is almost new.

supercarrera82,

Can you tell me about your wheel and tire setup? I would like to know the the offset and spacers you are using. The more info the better.
Thanks

ADR wheels, front 18x8, rear 18x10 (stock sc fenders) had the rear fenders rolled out so it wouldnt hit anymore, by that i mean i had them bent out a bit before i had the car painted because the stock sc rear fenders are angled a bit inward towards the wheel. 1.25 inch rear spacers and 8mm front spacers, oddly enough i risked getting 10" rear wheels and it worked. Thinking about getting them cambered but i really dont have the need to. It has Z rated sumitomo tires, not 100% on the size ill check it out when i get home today and post it. SKN front bumper from better bodies.

Took my '70 to a local hot rod show and while very few spectators even glanced at it (no chrome on the motor, no cutesy stuffed animals on the dash, no plaques for going through the rigours of washing my car and driving to a parking lot for a show, etc) i was surprised to be approached by two different guys. one owns a carrera and was very knowledgable about 911's in general and the other spent time in Germany and was most impressed with what great long distance cars 911's are.

kinda neat i thought.

oddly enough there were 3 bugs there and none of the guys wanted to talk air cooled.

at one point the head 'judge' announced that there would be an 'import' class and after some discussion it was determined that the volkswagens would be included in that class.

nice....i bought that same front bumper from BB....great choice.... the only thing i dont like is that bumper you have you need to put back the front smile on...because you can see the unevenness of the fender and bumper......

Loving that silver SC...stunning! I did not realize that ADR made wheels with the right offset for these narrow body cars..very cool.

I gotta say, I'm usually not a huge fan of the clean front and rear bumpers, badge delete, etc. but that silver SC is really doing it for me. I think if I saw a pic of the wheels alone, not on the car, I'd think they were too blingy, but they work perfectly on that car. Just beautiful.

supercarrera82,
The silver car, very nice. Can you tell/show us your exhaust system? I want to see how you have the tips pointed straight back.
Thanks.

Yeah, that silver one is stunning, but I am partial to impact bumpers, So I cant stop looking at the red one - menacing! Nice work.
