New Porsche Owner

This is somewhat belated, but I wanted to post a couple pictures of my car and express my appreciation for the forum, the help I've received from many of you, and the great experiences both selling and buying parts through the Pelican classifieds and from our host. I bought this car about 5 months ago, and have had a great time doing many upgrades, fixing leaks, trading out the WT, and meeting many new friends through the forum. This is a strong running 76 steel wide body, with a 78 3.0L engine. Since getting it I've done the oil fed tensioners, turbo tie rods, strut bar, Swepco 201 tranny oil (big plus), re-cabled the sun roof, put on new tires (Sumitomo's great tires), polished the alloy Fuchs, several minor fixes, and a couple of good waxings.
Over the years I've had Alfa's, Corvettes, Mustangs, Scouts, and many fine cars. This 911 is really up at the top of the list...... It is a real kick to drive! Thank you all again for your assistance!

Congratulations! That's one 'hot' looking P-car!

My 79' Targa has the 3.0 engine and I just love it. Enjoy yours in good health!

Ive always liked a wide body with no tail. kinda reminds me of a mid year on steroids, well i guess it kinda is , welcome home , as this will become a place of solitude and enjoyment.

cheers ed
