The Spring Challenge

For all of you out there with cabin fever - I can't believe you haven't given in to your inner voice saying "I can do a better jack than THAT !" http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/mad.gif

http://images.honesty.com/imagedata/...6/28017633.jpg

The whole thing took maybe an hour! (Of course that's not including the paint drying time and the 18 trips to Pep Boys to oogle the decal section) http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/eek.gif A lot of you spend more time on this list than that ! http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/rolleyes.gif

OK - here's the challenge. Take your best shot at my jack - let's see what YOU can come up with. Post them here and we'll get a vote on the best.

Hey you can even include jack stands and ramps (Humm, that gives me an idea - matching RAMPS !) http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/biggrin.gif

Come on - we have 4 more weeks until Spring. You guys in the Mid West & the East aren't going anywhere. Fire up the space heater and get out in the garage.

Tom,

Does it have to be an automotive part?

I've been thinking of a custom paint job on our washing machine, complete with Porsche 911 and Carrera decals/emblems, and maybe some racing stripes!

Of course, this will have to occur when the wife is out for the day. I ran it by here and she gave me that dissapproving eye roll.

Nick.

I'm thinking of doing my rolling tool box. Right now between my engine rebuild and the body work i'm not exactly aching for another project. It would be cool though.

I knew that one day, this BB would get me in trouble. After seeing Metalica in the gallery, I took a long look at my older seard jack. Now, you want a challange. OK, If I get a pause in the restoration of the Teen, I will get out the airbrushes and see what I can do. I am already trying really hard to overcome the urge to spray "Lil' Bastard" on the rear trunk.

I hope I don't see that jack this weekend.
