Headlight flicker touching turn signal
Driving home my headlights started flickering on and off while my hand was resting on the turn signal lever. The only way to keep them on was to pull slightly on the lever. Does that mean that the lever switch is going bad or loose wire?
Thanks Harry

Probably contact adjustment.
This fixed mine quite a while ago with no problems since: turn signal switch quick fix pictures

+1 It probably is the contacts inside the stalk switch. Fixing that won't do anything to address the mechanical action of the switch, which also will wear out eventually - mine started switching the lights to bright every time it canceled a left turn, simply because it had lost spring tension on the action...
With 250,000 miles on the tub it was just a no-brainer to replace the stalk. Difference in feel/action was pronounced - swapped in a new washer stalk about a week later ![]()

Just had the same issue with mine. Turns out it was just gunked up with 30+ years of crap. I just sprayed it with a contact cleaner and now everything is great.
