Paint code location
 

I have an 85 Carrera and I have to match paint on a tail i bought.Where can i find the paint code?

I found the paint code for my SC on the sticker at the rear edge of the engine bay. Just pop the decklid. Any paint place worth their salt should be able to match the paint code. It wasn't cheap for my light blue metallic, though.

Open the drivers door. Right under the door closer pin is a little plate. Stamped in it is the code #.

Mine is a 86´ Euro so it can be different to yours.
Anyway, it´s found in luggage compartment on the passenger side inner "fender", next to the riveted-on chassis-plate.
It´s also mentioned on the vehicle information stickers underneath the front lid and the service booklet.
