talbot mirrors

i'm looking to possibly replace my side view durant mirror with a talbot style mirror. i have cked sasco sports and they no longer sell them and i am waiting to hear from another shop - aardvark. according to dr johnson, author of 911 & 912 Porsche, they were optional equip on the 65-68 vehicles.i am interested in the style that is on the '67 911R. does anyone know where i can find one? is the visibilty improved over the durant? and i've heard of reproduction ones costing one-third the price of original. please help.
