targa hard top
I was checking out the Rennlist boards(I know, I know I should not stray from the Pelican site) and found an interesting thread recruiting persons to make some hard targa tops. Seems someone has manufactured a prototype( http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=1355259&a=10102782 )
and is willing to make more. Here is the link on the thread. http://boards.rennlist.com/cgi-bin/911/911_archive.pl?read=5525 I was thinking about adding my name to the list. It would be nice in the winter and long trips. I just thought some of you may be interested as well. Jamie 71 911T targa http://www4.ncsu.edu/~jpnovak |

I'd be all over one in hellblaumetallic...
I've given thought to doing this myself (I have some glassing experience) but I never seem to get around to it. Oh, and I can't paint worth a damn. ------------------ blue '81 SC Targa |

That post was put up there by R22Tech, who posts on this forum frequently.

I've looked into Saratoga tops, but they are pricey and I think the California sun would be too much to use a clear top year round. If it were painted fiberglass, I'd seriously consider one.
