The similarity between an SR71 Blackbird engine and a 911 engine.
It's oil pipes. As pointed out by my 12 year old son at the Boeing Museum in Seattle. They really are the same. :cool:

One is Mach 3.2 and the other is 3.2 Liters, that pretty much is where the similarities end...

I didn't mean to take anything away from your Son's interesting observation... As an aside, the SR was designed with a "slide rule" before computers, so just think what the Skunk Works could be up to 40 years later... |
